English referee Mark Clattenburg will take charge of Wednesday's Champions League quarter-final first leg between Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.
The 40-year-old, who has been a registered FIFA official since 2006, refereed Sunday's Manchester derby in the Premier League between Manchester United and Manchester City.
However, the Englishman will soon be back in action this week after being appointed for the clash in Paris.
Clattenburg has already taken charge of five Champions League fixtures this season.
