Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has expressed his desire to see Barcelona go on and win the Champions League, having knocked his side out in the semi-finals this evening.
The La Liga outfit took a 3-0 lead into the second leg at the Allianz Arena and, despite losing 3-2 on the night, booked their place in a first final since 2011 courtesy of a 5-3 aggregate triumph.
Guardiola, who won the Champions League twice as a manager during his time in charge of Barca, has now backed his former club to win Europe's premier competition for a fifth time.
"I want to pay a big compliment to Barcelona. I hope in Berlin they can win their fifth Champions League," he told reporters.
Barca will face either Real Madrid or Juventus in the final at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on June 6.
