Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has insisted that he will "come back stronger" from the hamstring injury that he suffered against Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday.
The Spanish international was forced off in the second half of the Champions League Group E match, where the Spanish side came from behind to triumph 2-1.
Barcelona confirmed the injury after the match and reports on Wednesday morning have claimed that the 31-year-old will be out of action until November.
Iniesta, however, has accepted the lay-off and vowed to return a stronger player.
"A hugely important victory. Some pride the team showed! Even though it's not always easy to understand, sometimes you need time out to come back stronger. One day closer. Come on Barca!" Iniesta tweeted.
Iniesta's injury has come in a week where Barcelona also lost Lionel Messi to damaged knee ligaments.
