Jordi Alba has insisted that Barcelona will 'continue to win trophies' after landing the Copa del Rey crown for a 28th time with a 2-0 win over Sevilla on Sunday night.
Extra-time goals from Alba and Neymar saw Barcelona overcome Sevilla in a match that saw Javier Mascherano, Ever Banega and Daniel Carrico all pick up red cards.
Alba has admitted that his team had to suffer after going down to 10 men late in the first period, but has hailed the mental strength shown by the players.
"It was difficult. When we were left with one less player, we struggled and more so against a team like Sevilla. I was lucky enough to get the goal. I'm happy about that, for the trophy and the double," Alba told Telecinco.
"We couldn't play as we wanted due to the circumstances, but the team played with the calibre that was needed. We could've lost if it was another game, but at half-time we agreed that we could win because of our quality in attack.
"It's been a very good season. Not every season can you win three trophies. We won two this season and [us winning trophies] won't stop."
Alba will be part of the Spain squad for Euro 2016 in France this summer.
