Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has confirmed that Lionel Messi is fit for Saturday's highly-anticipated El Clasico against Real Madrid.
The Argentina international, who has won the Ballon d'Or trophy four times in his career, has been out of action since September with a knee injury.
There have been rumblings that the 28-year-old would play this weekend after returning to training, but Enrique has refused to confirm whether the prolific attacker will feature in the showdown at the Bernabeu.
"Whether Messi plays or not, the best news is that he is fit again," Enrique told reporters. "We feel good going into the Clasico because of our form and due to players coming back.
"It won't be decisive for the league title, but it is obvious we want to win."
The Catalan giants are currently at the top of La Liga, three points above Real Madrid.
