Barcelona forward Lionel Messi has once again been named La Liga's player of the season in the 2018-19 Sports Mole Reader Awards.
The Argentine enjoyed another stellar campaign to help Barca to an eighth league title in the past 11 years, scoring 51 goals in 49 appearances across all competitions.
Messi's tally of 36 goals in 34 league appearances was enough to earn him a record third successive Golden Shoe and also to garner a whopping 79.8% of your votes as the Spanish top flight's standout player.
With Cristiano Ronaldo no longer in Spain to challenge him for the title, Messi's proportion of the votes was a huge way clear of second-placed Jan Oblak, the Atletico Madrid goalkeeper claiming 7.3%.
Celta Vigo's Iago Aspas rounds off the top three in the voting, while Messi's Barcelona teammates Luis Suarez and Gerard Pique were among the players on the final shortlist to finish outside the top five.
