GOAL! Exeter 1-0 Newport (Jordan Tillson)
There has been a goal in the early League Two kickoff between Exeter and Newport, and it is the hosts who have taken the lead at St James' Park. As things stand, Newport would remain six points clear of the relegation zone, while Exeter would stay 13th but move level on points with Carlisle in 12th.
In the other matches currently taking place, by the way, Championship leaders Hull are doing a good job holding on against FA Cup holders Arsenal at the Emirates. That one remains 0-0, and you can follow the final 15 minutes in depth by
clicking here. There is also an early Championship game currently taking place, with Cardiff leading Brighton 4-1.
WEST BROM STARTING XI: Foster; Olsson, Chester, Evans, Brunt; McClean, Sandro, Fletcher, Sessegnon; Berahino, Rondon
Subs: Myhill; Yacob, Gardner, Anichebe, Pocognoli, Lambert, Pritchard
West Brom have finally deigned to grace us with their team news, so let's take a look at what we can make of it. There is notably another start for Berahino, whose record in this competition is remarkable, while Rondon starts alongside the youngster up front. It is a strong side named by Tony Pulis in all. Hosts Reading, meanwhile, hand a debut to Rakels as they look to pull off an upset to reach the quarter-finals.
The other FA Cup tie starting at 3pm this afternoon sees Leeds travel to face
Watford, and while Quique Flores has chosen to rest Ighalo at Vicarage Road, it is a fairly strong squad from the Premier League side overall. Leeds, meanwhile, will be look to refocus on matters on the field amidst yet more strife off it.
FULL TIME: Cardiff 4-1 Brighton
It's all over in South Wales, and it is a very impressive result indeed for Cardiff. Brighton had been beaten just four times all season before today, but they fall to a 4-1 defeat this afternoon and miss the chance to move into the automatic promotion places as a result, with neither Hull or Middlesbrough in action this afternoon. Cardiff, meanwhile, jump up to seventh and are now only two points outside the playoff places.
Arsenal 0-0 Hull: Still goalless at the Emirates as we head into the final few minutes. Can Hull hold on for a replay at the KC Stadium?
We're underway in Germany, where five Bundesliga matches are kicking off at 2.30pm today. That includes league leaders Bayern Munich, who are expected to extend their lead at the top to 11 points this afternoon.
Here is how the top of the Championship looks following that 4-1 victory for Cardiff against Hull in the early kickoff. A real missed opportunity for the Seagulls...
There are a few big games taking place in the Championship today. At the wrong end of the table, MK Dons host Bristol City at stadium:mk, with those two sides occupying the two spaces directly above the relegation zone. Rotherham have a tricky away tie to Burnley, which could give Charlton a chance to gain some ground if they are able to pull off a result against London rivals Fulham.
FULL TIME! Arsenal 0-0 Hull
What a big result that is for Hull! They made 10 changes for this afternoon's match, but still managed to hold Arsenal to a goalless draw at the Emirates, forcing a replay back at the KC Stadium. It is the third time that these two sides have met in this competition over the past three seasons, and this is the first of those in which Hull have avoided defeat. Could the holders be on their way out?
You can read our on-the-whistle match report of that game by
clicking here.
GOAL! Borussia Monchengladbach 1-0 Koln (Mahmoud Dahoud)
The first Bundesliga goal of the afternoon goes the way of Monchengladbach, who would climb up to fifth in the table with the win if everything stays the same. It would also be a big blow to the hopes of fellow European challengers Koln, who currently sit ninth.
GOAL! Hoffenheim 0-1 Mainz (Jhon Cordoba)
GOAL! Ingolstadt 1-0 Werder Bremen (Benjamin Hubner)
GOAL! Hoffenheim 1-1 Mainz (Nadiem Amiri)
The goals are flying in in Germany now! For a couple of minutes, Mainz were on course to climb up into the Champions League positions having taken the lead against Hoffenheim, but the hosts hit straight back and it is now all square. Werder Bremen's season continues to go from bad to worse, meanwhile, with Ingolstadt taking the lead against the relegation strugglers.
GOAL! Exeter 1-1 Newport (Scott Boden)
Newport level things up against Exeter at St James' Park, with Boden glancing a header home from close range for his 12th of the season.
Step aside Fraser Forster.
LAS PALMAS VS. BARCELONA: Messi, Neymar and Suarez are all in action again this afternoon as Barcelona look to extend both their club-record unbeaten streak and their six-point lead at the top of the La Liga table. They face Arsenal in the Champions League on Tuesday and, after the Gunners slipped up against Hull, have a chance to send a real message out if they can pick up another convincing victory. They look unstoppable at the moment.
WATFORD VS. LEEDS: Watford will be looking to do what Arsenal failed to do earlier today and overcome Championship opposition to make it into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup this afternoon. They may fancy their chances of going quite far in this season's competition and will certainly go into the game this afternoon as favourites to progress.
FULL TIME: Exeter 1-1 Newport
It ends all square between Exeter and Newport, then, which doesn't really do much for either side in League Two to be honest. Exeter stay 13th in the table, now two points off the top half, while Newport edge seven clear of the relegation zone.
GOAL! Bayern Munich 0-1 Darmstadt (Sandro Wagner)
Now then! Could we be on course for the shock of the season in the Bundesliga? Bayern Munich have fallen behind at home to Darmstadt courtesy of Sandro Wagner's strike having only dropped seven points all season before this afternoon!
READING VS. WEST BROM: The third of the Premier League vs. Championship FA Cup ties this afternoons ees Reading host West Brom, and on paper at least this seemed like the most even of them. The Royals have home advantage against the Baggies, but aren't in the best form going into the game, so West Brom will still be favourites.
Here we go then! Whistles are blowing up and down the country and across Europe as the 3pm kickoffs get underway. Here's hoping for plenty of goals!
The first goal of the 3pm kickoffs goes to Blackpool in League One! They take the lead away to Swindon, and if they can hold on it would be a major boost to their survival hopes.
Sticking in League One, bottom-of-the-table Colchester United have taken an early lead against Bury which, while not enough to take them off the bottom, would be a valuable glimmer of hope in their uphill battle against relegation.
National League leaders Cheltenham have broken the deadlock against playoff contenders Tranmere to take another step towards promotion back to League Two, while another playoff hopeful have suffered a setback, with Gateshead falling behind against Aldershot.
There is a big game taking place at the bottom of League One this afternoon, with Chesterfield taking on Crewe, and it is the home side Chesterfield who have struck first in that one. They currently sit a point and a place above the relegation zone, while Crewe are three points behind.
How are Arsenal going to cope with him? The man they tried to sign from Liverpool for a pound over £40m opens the scoring for Barcelona against Las Palmas, with Alba's low cross into the box allowing Suarez to fire home from close range.
Well, that's not a bad response from Las Palmas! They level things up within five minutes of going behind against Barcelona, firing home from inside the box through Willian Jose.
Before we go any further, here is a selection of stats on the ridiculous form of Luis Suarez this season:
25 league goals - the first player in the top five leagues to reach this tally
41 goals in 37 appearances in all competitions, with 15 assists
Has now contributed to 23 goals in his last 10 appearances (15 goals, eight assists)
HALF TIME: Bayern Munich 0-1 Darmstadt
Bayern have a huge Champions League game against last season's runners-up Juventus on Tuesday, and they rested a few usual first-choice players as a result this afternoon. It could well backfire on them, though, as they are trailing Darmstadt 1-0 at the halfway stage in Munich.
Beware though, Darmstadt...
Incredibly, there have still be no goals in the Championship today. There is plenty happening in League One, though, with promotion-chasing Gillingham taking the lead against Oldham and bottom-of-the-table Colchester doubling their last against Crewe. Staying at the bottom of that table, Chesterfield are now 2-0 up against Crewe as well, which would be a big boost for the hosts but a huge blow for the visitors.
York are also in a perilous position a division below, hovering just above Yeovil and Dagenham in the final safety spot in the whole Football League. They have fallen two goals behind against Cambridge United, who still have playoff ambitions this season.
Hope for Crewe? They pull a goal back against relegation rivals Chesterfield with just under half an hour gone in that League One game.
GOAL! Burnley 1-0 Rotherham (Sam Vokes)
We finally have a goal in the Championship! It is Sam Vokes who gets it for Burnley, putting the Clarets ahead against Neil Warnock's Rotherham side and on course to move second in the table, with Brighton having lost earlier and Middlesbrough not in action.
GOAL! Fulham 1-0 Charlton (Tom Cairney)
More bad news for a Championship relegation candidate as Charlton fall behind against Fulham at Craven Cottage. Safety is slipping away from both the Addicks and the Millers at the moment...
We'll take a look at how things stand at the bottom of the Championship table in just a moment, but first, here is the good news for Burnley fans:
GOAL! Bayern Munich 1-1 Darmstadt (Thomas Muller)
It did take Bayern long in the second half to level things up against Darmstadt, with Thomas Muller restoring parity within four minutes of the restart. Floodgates open?
Here is the state of play at the bottom end of the Championship, where Fulham have jumped up a spot and Rotherham and Charlton are falling further away from safety as things stand. Indeed, the Addicks will drop to the bottom of the table with everything stays the same.
In terms of who could be coming up to the Championship next season, Wigan have given their promotion hopes a boost by taking the lead against fellow high-flyers Walsall in a huge match at the top of League One today. Gillingham still lead too, so it is turning into a bad day for Walsall at the moment.
GOAL! Hertha Berlin 0-1 Wolfsburg (Marcel Schafer)
Barcelona are back in front against Las Palmas, and all three of the MSN are involved. Suarez crosses the ball for Messi, who sees his shot saved, only for the ball to fall kindly for Neymar to stroke home the rebound.
It's all going wrong at Tannadice Park for Hearts, who currently sit third in the Scottish Premiership but trail bottom-pf-the-table Dundee United by a goal to nil. The visitors have also had a man sent off, so have a mountain to climb in the second half if they are to avoid an upset.
GOAL! MK Dons 0-1 Bristol City (Jonathan Kodjia)
Big goal at the bottom of the Championship as Bristol City take the lead against MK Dons through Kodija. He converts at the back post following a Tomlin cross to put his side in front on what is haping up to be a very good day for them, with Rotherham and Charlton both losing.
GOAL! Hertha Berlin 1-1 Wolfsburg (Salomon Kalou)
Into half time we go, then, and so far there really hasn't been much to shout about in the FA Cup. Both games remain goalless at the halfway stage, with West Brom not even having managed a shot on target yet in their match. Surely we won't have another two stalemates after the earlier draw between Arsenal and Hull?
GOAL! Hoffenheim 2-1 Mainz (Mark Uth)
We could be on course for a surprise in the Bundesliga, where relegation-threatened Hoffenheim lead Mainz, who could move up to third with a win this afternoon. Mainz have won each of their last three games - as many as Hoffenheim have won all season - but it is the hosts who have the lead right now.
GOAL! Bayern Munich 2-1 Darmstadt (Thomas Muller)
Was it ever in any doubt? Bayern Munich complete the turnaround against Darmstadt, with Thomas Muller getting his second of the game at the Allianz Arena. Pep Guardiola's side were given a little scare ahead of their Champions League meeting with Juventus on Tuesday, but are now on course to go 11 points clear.
We are underway in the Ligue 1 clash between PSG and Reims as the runaway leaders look to extend their record unbeaten streak following their Champions League victory over Chelsea on Tuesday night.
We're also back underway in the FA Cup clash between Reading and West Brom, which remains goalless. In-depth live coverage of that game can be found by
clicking here.
GOAL! Hoffenheim 3-1 Mainz (Mark Uth)
Hoffenheim double their advantage against Mainz and are now surely on their way to just their third league win of the season! They still have a lot of work to do to survive, but this is a big boost.
GOAL! Hoffenheim 3-2 Mainz (Jairo Samperio)
Ahhh you can't beat the good old fashioned commentator's curse! No sooner had Hoffenheim made it 3-1 than Mainz halve the deficit again, making it 3-2 with a little over 10 minutes to go. It's a huge 10 minutes for the hosts!
We're back underway for the second half in the vast majority of 3pm kickoffs now, including both FA Cup games, which are still goalless.
GOAL! Reading 0-1 West Brom (Darren Fletcher) The FA Cup is goalless no longer! Having not managed a single shot on target in the first half, West Brom break the deadlock 10 minutes into the second through skipper Darren Fletcher.
GOAL! Watford 1-0 Leeds (Scott Wootton og) GOAL! Celtic 1-0 Inverness (Gary Mackay-Steven)
GOAL! Bayern Munich 3-1 Darmstadt (Robert Lewandowski)
GOAL! PSG 1-0 Reims (Gregory van der Wiel)
Not a bad couple of minutes for the favourites there! Watford quickly follow West Brom in taking the lead in the FA Cup courtesy of a Wootton own goal, and it was a bad one from the Leeds defender too! Celtic, Bayern and PSG, meanwhile, all take a step towards extending their respective leads at the top of the tables.
GOAL! Reading 1-1 West Brom (Paul McShane) West Brom were ahead for just five minutes as Paul McShane levels things up against his former club with a powerful header from Norwood's free kick.
GOAL! Celtic 2-0 Inverness (Leigh Griffiths)
GOAL! Fulham 2-0 Charlton (Michael Madl)
GOAL! Ingolstadt 2-0 Werder Bremen (Lukas Hinterseer, pen)
FULL TIME: Bayern Munich 3-1 Darmstadt
FULL TIME: Borussia Monchengladbach 1-0 Koln
FULL TIME: Hoffenheim 3-2 Mainz
FULL TIME: Ingolstadt 2-0 Werder Bremen
GOAL! MK Dons 0-2 Bristol City (Jonathan Kodjia)
Bristol City double their lead over MK Dons in their Championship relegation battle, and it is a second of the afternoon for Jonathan Kodjia. Meanwhile, there are big wins in the Bundesliga for Hoffenheim and Ingolstadt, but Werder Bremen are looking in trouble now.
FULL TIME: Hertha Berlin 1-1 Wolfsburg
This day has not turned out how Colchester would have imagined at half past three. The League One's bottom side led Bury 2-0 at that stage, but subsequently had a man sent off and have conceded five without reply, including a hat-trick for Andrew Tutte, to trail 5-2. Tutte, Tutte, tutte.
The unstoppable force that is Northampton look to be on course for a club-record ninth straight league win having taken the lead against Wycombe in League Two. Promotion draws ever closer for the Cobblers.
GOAL! Reading 2-1 West Brom (Michael Hector) The turnaround is complete at the Madejski Stadium! West Brom have let a lead slip in this second half and now find themselves staging down the barrel of an FA Cup upset, with Hector having put Reading in front with less than 20 minutes remaining!
GOAL! Bolton 1-0 QPR (Zach Clough)
How big could that goal prove to be for troubled Bolton? With the other two sides in the relegation zone currently losing. Clough's opener against QPR takes them off the bottom and up to 22nd as things stand.
Right, let's have a quick look at things at the bottom of the Bundesliga following some interesting results today. Hoffenheim picked up just their third win of the season to move within three points of guaranteed safety, with Werder Bremen stuck in the relegation playoff place after another defeat.
It is a bad day for Mainz at the other end of the table. They could have moved third with a win this afternoon, but instead were beaten by relegation-threatened Hoffenheim and now drop out of the top six entirely.
GOAL! Preston 1-0 Sheffield Wednesday (Joe Garner)
Preston's unlikely playoff dreams are given another boost by Joe Garner breaking the deadlock against fifth-placed Sheffield Wednesday, who have also been reduced to 10 men courtesy of two yellow cards for Fernando Forestieri.
GOAL! PSG 1-1 Reims (Prince Oniangue)
BOURNEMOUTH STARTING XI: Federici; Francis, Elphick, Distin, Daniels; Iturbe, O'Kane, Macdonald, Gosling, Stanislas; King
Subs: Boruc, Wiggins, Smith, Butcher, Pugh, Ritchie, Murray
EVERTON STARTING XI: Joel; Coleman, Funes Mori, Jagielka, Oviedo; Barry, McCarthy, Cleverley, Barkley, Lennon; Lukaku

GOAL! Fulham 3-0 Charlton (Tom Cairney)
GOAL! Huddersfield 1-0 Wolves (Nahki Wells)
GOAL! Brentford 1-1 Derby (Jeff Hendrick)
Big goal for out-of-form playoff hopefuls Derby as they level things up against Brentford with around 10 minutes remaining at Griffin Park, while over at the John Smith's Stadium Huddersfield have taken the lead against Wolves, with Nahki Wells putting the finish to a flowing team move.
GOAL! Brentford 1-2 Derby (Cyrus Christie)
GOAL! PSG 2-1 Reims (Zlatan Ibrahimovic)
Derby turn things around at Griffin Park with a couple of goals in the space of three minutes. It is Christie who gets the second, firing home Johnson's cut-back from close range to put the Rams ahead. Could this be what they need to turn their season back around?
GOAL! PSG 3-1 Reims (Edinson Cavani)
PSG grab a third goal late in the first half to give themselves a cushion against Reims, and it is Chelsea's conqueror Edinson Cavani who gets it with virtually the last action of the half. It's a long way back for Reims now.
Yeovil Town have let a lead slip against League Two playoff hopefuls Portsmouth, which could be a big blow to their survival chances. It is 1-1 down at Huish Park.
GOAL! Reading 3-1 West Brom (Lucas Piazon) FULL TIME: Reading 3-1 West Brom

FULL TIME: Burnley 2-0 Rotherham
Before we recap the events from this afternoon, let me first point you in the direction of our dedicated live commentary for the late FA Cup match between Premier League rivals Bournemouth and Everton. You can follow that by
clicking here.
Not exactly a straightforward day for the Premier League sides in the FA Cup, then, with Hull holding Arsenal to a draw in the early kickoff at the Emirates Stadium setting the tone. Reading came from behind to dump West Brom out of the competition with a 3-1 victory, while Watford will join the Royals in the quarter-finals courtesy of a comical Scott Wootton own goal which was enough to hand them the win against Leeds.
CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS:Cardiff 4-1 Brighton (12.30pm kickoff)
Bolton 1-1 QPR
Brentford 1-3 Derby
Burnley 2-0 Rotherham
Fulham 3-0 Charlton
Huddersfield 1-0 Wolves
MK Dons 0-2 Bristol City
Preston 1-0 Sheffield Wednesday
As for what those results have done for the Championship table, it is Bristol City who will regard themselves as the big winners at the bottom end of the standings, having beaten fellow relegation rivals MK Dons and watched every other team below them in the table drop points too. Bolton climb off the bottom with a draw, although they led against QPR until late and could have finished the day 22nd instead. Charlton replace them at the foot of the table, while Rotherham remain five adrift of safety.
QPR left it late to rescue that point against Charlton, but it is enough to lift them into the top half of the table, with Wolves and Brentford both losing this afternoon. The biggest winners of the day in this middle section, however, as Preston, who pulled off an impressive victory over 10-man Sheffield Wednesday to edge ever closer to the playoff positions.
Meanwhile, at the summit, Burnley end the day in the automatic promotion places, with neither Hull nor Middlesbrough in Championship action this afternoon and Brighton having been beaten in the early kickoff. Derby scored three times in the final 10 minutes to come from behind and pick up their first league win since Boxing Day, lifting them back above the beaten Owls and to within five points of the automatic promotion places.
BOURNEMOUTH 0-0 EVERTON: We're underway at Dean Court for the late FA Cup kickoff between Bournemouth and Everton. Who will make it through to join Reading and Watford in the quarter-finals?
READING 3-1 WEST BROM: West Brom's Chris Brunt has claimed that he was hit in the face by a coin thrown from the away end in his side's 3-1 defeat to Reading at the Madejski:
"I was walking towards our supporters at the end, and they thought it was OK to throw a coin at their own players. I'm disgusted," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.
"If they want to come forward and say they don't like what they've seen then that's fine. Fans are frustrated we were 1-0 up and lost. They paid a lot of money to come, but a small minority spoilt it. There were young kids there. I was absolutely disgusted and ashamed."
GOAL! PSG 4-1 Reims (Zlatan Ibrahimovic)
Yet another goal for Ibrahimovic, and it looks like being yet another win for PSG. They are unstoppable in Ligue 1 at the moment and will go 27 points clear (!!!) barring an incredible Reims turnaround.
Barcelona didn't have things all their own way against Las Palmas this afternoon, but Luis Enrique's side still managed to pick up the win courtesy of goals from Suarez and Neymar. It not only stretches their club-record unbeaten streak in all competitions, but also takes them seven points clear in La Liga, with the Madrid clubs having a game in hand.
Las Palmas, meanwhile, remain in the relegation zone as a result of that defeat, and with Espanyol currently drawing with Deportivo La Coruna, the gap to safety is two points as things stand. They did better than many teams manage against Barca, but they do need to start getting points on the board.
GOAL! Hellas Verona 1-0 Chievo (Luca Toni)
Celtic joined the likes of Barcelona, Bayern Munich and, it seems, PSG in extending their lead at the top of their respective tables with a 3-0 victory over Inverness today. The champions moved six points clear of Aberdeen in second, with all of the goals, including two from Leigh Griffiths, coming in the second half at Celtic Park. Here is how things look at the top end of the Scottish Championship now.
WATFORD 1-0 LEEDS: Watford are in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup for the first time in nine years and, despite needing an own goal to get them there today, manager Quique Flores feels that they deserve it.
"We took control, we played well & deserved to go through to the next round of the FA Cup," he told reporters.
Right, that is all we have time for this afternoon! Thank you very much for joining
Sports Mole for today's action, with the big boys of European football all emerging unscathed from another round of fixtures and the FA Cup providing a couple more shocks. Allow me to point you once more in the direction of the ongoing FA Cup game between
Bournemouth and Everton, which remains goalless approaching the half-hour mark. From me, though, it is goodbye for now!
