Sports Mole rounds up all of Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Thursday's La Liga fixture with Getafe.
Sports Mole

Barcelona head into Thursday's La Liga fixture with Getafe on the back of claiming their first piece of silverware of the season.

Sitting two points adrift of Atletico Madrid with eight matches left, Ronald Koeman's priority remains on trying to edge out the leaders and fierce rivals Real Madrid for the top-flight crown.

Nevertheless, the Dutchman and his squad are on a high after thrashing Athletic Bilbao in the Copa del Rey final on Saturday night, netting all four goals during a 12-minute period in the second half.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their next outing at Camp Nou.

Ansu Fati

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Fati continues to recuperate from the serious knee injury he sustained in November. However, while the youngster is unlikely to feature again this season, it has recently been reported that he will not have to undergo a second operation.

Philippe Coutinho

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Coutinho is yet to feature in 2021 after suffering a knee injury against Eibar in December. It has since been revealed that the Brazilian will undergo surgery on the issue, resulting in the playmaker missing the remainder of the season.

Neto

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: April 22 (vs. Getafe)

Goalkeeper Neto recently suffered an ankle sprain, an injury which has kept him off the substitutes' bench throughout April. The backup stopper will continue to be assessed on a game-by-game basis.

Martin Braithwaite

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: April 25 (vs. Villarreal)

Having sprained his ankle during training on Tuesday, Braithwaite has been ruled out of this contest. As it stands, it remains to be seen whether he will come back into contention at the weekend.

BARCELONA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Barca have no players suspended for this match.
