Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde has conceded that Ousmane Dembele is a huge doubt for next week's Champions League quarter-final first leg against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Dembele has been on the sidelines since the start of March with a hamstring problem.
Valverde has revealed that that the France international will miss Barca's La Liga game against Atletico Madrid on Saturday night and is also unlikely to make the trip to England to take on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.
"He is not going to be available tomorrow and we do not know if he will be on Wednesday either," Valverde told reporters. "We don't want to risk him, either tomorrow or Wednesday, and then have a bigger problem in the matches that are coming up. We will see how he is doing. For sure, tomorrow he will be out."
Dembele's numbers are impressive this season, having scored 14 times and contributed eight assists in 35 appearances in all competitions for the Catalan giants.
Meanwhile, the 21-year-old has netted three goals in six Champions League matches this term.
