Ousmane Dembele's injury-hit maiden campaign at Barcelona has suffered another blow as the French forward has been ruled out for up to four weeks.
Barca were without their £135m summer signing for a large chunk of the opening half of the campaign due to a hamstring injury sustained on his first La Liga start.
Dembele recently returned to action, however, featuring four times in the space of a fortnight since the winter break.
The 20-year-old's comeback has been cut short, though, as he pulled up in the most recent of those outings against Real Sociedad on Sunday and will be out for around a month.
"Tests have confirmed that the player has suffered a hamstring injury of the semitendinosus muscle that does not affect the area operated on earlier in the season," a club statement read. "The injury will mean he will be out for a period of around three to four weeks."
Barca also revealed that experienced central midfielder Andres Iniesta injured his right calf and will be assessed.
