Barcelona defender Dani Alves has admitted that his side must "give everything" to overcome Atletico Madrid in the La Liga title decider this weekend.

The Catalan outfit enter the match three points behind Atletico, but would win the league with victory due to a superior head-to-head record.

"If we truly deserve the title, we have to prove it against Atletico. We have a chance to win La Liga," Alves told the club's official website.

"We have to give everything we have. Everything has happened to us this season, but we have another chance to win La Liga. Now we have to focus on Atletico.

"It's very hard to achieve your goals. The fact that all three of the top teams didn't win Sunday brings more validity to success."

Atletico missed the chance to win La Liga on Sunday after drawing 1-1 with Malaga.
