Barcelona have confirmed that the hamstring injury suffered by full-back Jordi Alba is not as serious as originally feared.
The 24-year-old sustained the complaint during Spain's 1-1 draw against Finland on Friday night, with initial reports having claimed that he could face a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
However, having undergone a scan, the Catalan outfit have revealed that he should be out of action for no longer than "10 days".
He will miss Spain's encounter against France on Tuesday, though, while he is also considered to be doubtful for Barca's upcoming matches against Celta Vigo and Paris Saint-Germain.
