Barcelona have allegedly agreed to face Boca Juniors in a friendly fixture ahead of next season.
Ahead of each campaign, Camp Nou plays host to the Joan Gamper trophy - named after a former player and president of Barcelona - with clubs from all over the world travelling to Catalonia to take on the Spanish giants.
No formal announcement has been made, but Boca Juniors president Daniel Angelici has revealed that the Argentine giants have held successful talks with Barcelona over a meeting in August.
Angelici told Cooperativa: "It's confirmed and unless something unusual happens, we will be travelling in August to Barcelona to play it. Boca has to return to play those international games. We don't do it for money but for prestige.
"It's going to be a challenge. We are going to play against one of the best teams in the world of the decade. It will also be an opportunity to see where our squad is at then."
At the start of this season, Barcelona registered a 5-0 win over Brazilian side Chapecoense.
