Martin Braithwaite has revealed that Lionel Messi has helped him settle into life at Barcelona.
Last month, the Catalan giants were given permission to bring in an emergency replacement for Ousmane Dembele and Luis Suarez, resulting in the addition of Braithwaite.
With the Denmark international not used to representing a major club in Europe, the deal has divided opinion between the fanbase at Camp Nou.
However, the former Leganes man has praised the influence of new teammate Messi, who is said to have helped his fellow attacker adjust to his surroundings.
The 28-year-old told Mundo Deportivo: "Amazing. He is a great guy, he is waiting to help the players. He is helping me to join the team and in the field, of course, it is incredible, it is nice to see him.
"It is a great club, the feelings I have are really special. Despite its greatness, it is a family club, everyone helps you, there is a warm energy for everything to be positive."
Braithwaite has made two substitute outings for Barca in La Liga.
