Getafe forward Adrian Colunga will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a foot injury in his side's 2-2 draw with Barcelona at the Camp Nou on Saturday.
The Spaniard was forced to depart in the first period of the La Liga clash, although it had initially been claimed that his withdrawal was purely a precaution.
Getafe have since released a statement, however, revealing that the striker has suffered a torn abductor in his left foot, which will keep him on the sidelines until next season.
Getafe, whose final two league games are against Sevilla and Rayo Vallecano, currently sit 17th in the table, just one point ahead of the relegation zone.
