Cesc Fabregas has urged his Barcelona teammates to build on their impressive start to the league season.
Tito Vilanova's side have taken 19 points from 21 available and are eight points ahead of defending champions Real Madrid.
The Spain international told TV3: "If somebody had offered us this advantage at the start of the season then we would have signed there and then.
"It's great, and now we have to continue with the same mentality."
Atletico Madrid are keeping pace with the Catalan club after seven games in La Liga.
