Carles Gil is confident that Elche will overcome their winless run in La Liga against Sevilla at the weekend.
Sunday's 4-0 defeat to Barcelona was the newly-promoted side's fourth consecutive defeat, but Gil, who is on loan at Elche from Valencia, has insisted that the team are "strong and very united".
"We knew how difficult it would be to get points there, but in the end, it's another defeat that annoys us because it comes of the back of the others," he told reporters at a press conference.
"We're strong and very united, we know we will get through this. All we're thinking about now is Sevilla and nothing more."
Elche have won just four of their 18 league matches this season, with a total of 17 points leaving them in 16th position in the table.
