Former France international Thierry Henry lavishes praise on Barcelona's Lionel Messi.

Former France international Thierry Henry has branded Barcelona's Lionel Messi "an incredible player".

Henry, who now represents the New York Red Bulls, spent three years alongside Messi at the Camp Nou between 2007 and 2010.

"You cannot define him in words. He's from another world; the best," Henry told El Mundo Deportivo.

"To have him beside you every day is tremendous. He does unimaginable things.

"I do not know just how far he will be able to go in his career, but he's definitely already an incredible player."

Henry scored 49 times in 121 games for Barcelona during his time in Spain.
