Andres Iniesta has claimed that 600 Barcelona appearances is nothing for Lionel Messi, who has been tipped to set a potentially unbeatable appearance record for the Spanish giants.
Messi made his 600th appearance for the Catalan giants in Saturday's 2-1 win over Sevilla in La Liga.
Only Iniesta (643) and Xavi (767) have played more times for Barcelona than the Argentine, and current club captain Iniesta has tipped Messi to continue breaking records.
"Messi's 600th appearance? It's a lot of games and it's very difficult to reach a figure like that, but the 600 games are certainly far below what he'll end up achieving and hopefully [more appearances] can be accompanied by more trophies," Iniesta told reporters.
Messi, 30, has scored 523 goals in his 600 appearances for Barcelona, including 16 in 17 matches thus far this season.
