Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Javier Pastore has tipped his Argentinian compatriot Lionel Messi to win this year's Ballon d'Or.
Despite Barcelona's not winning a trophy last season, Messi enjoyed a record-breaking year and Pastore believes the that 25-year-old will secure the honour for the third time.
Pastore said: "Messi will win the Ballon d'Or. He is the best in the world and he is getting better and better."
Pastore has won 13 international caps for Argentina.
