Gerard Pique has stated that he believes Pedri could become one of the best players in world football.
Since joining Barcelona from Las Palmas in 2020, Pedri has impressed many onlookers for both his club side and for Spain.
The 19-year-old has already made 74 appearances for the Catalan giants, scoring nine goals in that period, while he has also featured for his country at Euro 2020 and at the Olympics in Tokyo.
Those performances have caught the eye of Barcelona teammate Pique, who believes that Pedri could become one of the world's best.
"Pedri has a lot of chances to be [the] best player in the world," Pique told ex-Manchester United teammate Gary Neville in an interview with Sky Sports News.
"Gavi also is very good for his age. We have great talents here at Barcelona right now. They have to grow, but right now they are very good."
Gavi has also enjoyed a breakthrough season at Camp Nou, scoring two goals in 29 La Liga appearances.
