Watford midfielder Richarlison has insisted that Philippe Coutinho will only get better following his move to Barcelona, describing his compatriot as "the future of Brazil".
Coutinho made a huge impact during his five years at former club Liverpool, playing a direct part in 33 Premier League goals since the start of last season alone.
The 25-year-old is now the second-most expensive player of all time after getting his dream move to Camp Nou, behind only fellow Brazilian Neymar, and Richarlison claims that there is still more to come from the £142m man.
"I didn't know about the offer before it went public," Sky Sports News quotes him as saying. "I consider the offer to reflect the value of the player.
"I think he's a great character and a great player. He is the future of Brazil. He is also known as 'the little magician'. He is incredible and I wish him all the best at Barcelona."
Richarlison has also made a solid start to life in English football, scoring five goals and setting up four more since arriving in the summer.
