Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari believes that Lionel Messi will remain the best player on the planet for at least the next two years.
The Barcelona star has won the Ballon d'Or a record four times and is the current World Player of the Year, and Scolari feels that Messi will hold on to his title for the foreseeable future.
"Lionel will continue to be the best for one or two more years," Scolari told the German Football Federation's website.
"Messi is a team player but he is blessed with a marvellous individual talent. He is capable of winning a game all on his own."
Messi topped the scoring charts in La Liga last season, netting 46 times as Barca won the Spanish title.
