Barcelona winger Cristian Tello has revealed that his relationship with Gerardo Martino "is very good".
The 22-year-old started for the Catalan outfit in their 3-2 win over Sevilla at the weekend, but his other two league appearances this season have come from the bench.
"Martino is adding facets to our game that perhaps we lacked, so as not to be predictable. My relationship with him is very good, it is very close. He asked me to be focused all year and that I would not drop down if I do not play every minute that I would like," Tello told reporters at a press conference.
"For now I have the confidence of the coach and I do not plan on leaving. The coach knows what we need and I believe that we are doing very well.
"Alexis [Sanchez], Pedro, Neymar and myself are all working for a place. It is very hard to play because we have the best players in the world, but you have to work."
Tello scored eight times in 34 games for Barcelona last season.
