Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen will miss the club's La Liga opener against Elche next weekend.
It was confirmed last week that the summer signing from Borussia Monchengladbach had suffered a back injury during a training session.
At the time, it was unclear whether the youngster would be fit to make his official league debut on the opening weekend of the season.
However, Barca have now revealed that Ter Stegen will be out of action until the end of the month.
As a result, fellow summer signing Claudio Bravo will start between the sticks in the season's curtain-raiser.
