Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has revealed that he enjoyed his first experience of South Africa.
The Spanish champions recorded a 3-1 victory over Mamelodi Sundowns in Wednesday's friendly in Johannesburg, with Ousmane Dembele, Luis Suarez and Andre Gomes on the scoresheet.
Ter Stegen has said that it was "a super nice experience" due to the special atmosphere inside the stadium.
"It was a super nice experience for every one of us and I'm happy we won the match in the end," Ter Stegen told SuperSport TV. "It was all about the experience but it felt good to get the victory and it was important for the fans.
"It wasn't only about the match but about the experience, the atmosphere, and seeing the people here I'm so happy for it. It was amazing because in the end they supported both teams the same way. That's how it should be for a match like this."
Barcelona will finish their 2017-18 La Liga campaign at home to Real Sociedad this weekend.
