Barcelona midfielder Xavi has revealed that he has no intention of retiring from football just yet.
The Spain international, who turned 34 in January, insists that he has never felt fitter and believes that he is ill-equipped for a life away from the field.
He told So Foot: "I am physically well. I feel even better than the previous two seasons.
"Honestly, this is the first time in my career that I have felt so good. I'm more mature and much better physically.
"What I know is that I love football and I intend to stay in this world. In any case, I would not know where to look [for a job] in an office. What do you want me to do - economics?"
Xavi, whose existing deal at Camp Nou expires in 2016, has won seven Primera Division honours and three Champions League titles during his lengthy spell with the Catalans.
