Barcelona boss Xavi has insisted that his side "need to play better at home" if they are to enjoy a successful season, with the Catalan outfit only edging past Getafe on Sunday night.
Pedri scored the only goal of the match at Camp Nou, as Barcelona recorded a 1-0 victory over the Deep Blue Ones to temporarily move six points clear at the top of the La Liga table.
The gap to second-placed Real Madrid is now back down to three points, though, with the reigning champions managing to record a 2-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao later in the evening.
Xavi has said that he was pleased with the result but not the performance against Getafe.
"We didn't have a good game. We kept a clean sheet, but we could have done much better. We need to play better at home. I think the mental fatigue is noticeable. This is an important victory, but we didn't do well at all," the Barcelona boss told reporters in his post-match press conference.
Marc-Andre ter Stegen has been in excellent form for Barcelona this season, conceding just six times in 17 La Liga matches, keeping 13 clean sheets in the process.
The 30-year-old made three impressive saves against Getafe, meanwhile, and Xavi has lavished praise on the Germany international for his recent performances.
"We're witnessing the best Ter Stegen in a long time. I'm happy for him because I've always supported him," the Barcelona head coach added.
"Ter Stegen is a leader. He works so hard for the team, and it's so important to have a goalkeeper that can win you matches like he does."
Pedri, meanwhile, said that his side "have to learn how to kill off games" following the Getafe clash.
"We still have to learn how to kill off games. Regardless, these three points are very important," the midfielder told reporters after the contest.
"As of right now, we're leaders by six points. We'll see what happens in San Mames. The league title is our priority. These weeks have been very tough. We travelled and played a lot."
Barcelona, who beat Real Madrid to win the Spanish Super Cup earlier this month, will now switch their attention to the Copa del Rey, as they prepare to take on Real Sociedad in the quarter-finals of the competition on Wednesday night. body check tags ::
