Barcelona reportedly intend to retain the services of Quique Setien until at least the end of the season.
At a time when Barcelona have dropped points against Sevilla and Celta Vigo, it has been suggested many members of the dressing room have lost faith in the recently-appointed boss.
With the Catalan giants now two points adrift of Real Madrid in the La Liga title race, there have been suggestions that a change could be made in the dugout in the coming days.
However, according to RAC1, club president Josep Maria Bartomeu has visited Setien's home to offer the 61-year-old his support.
The alleged development comes after Setien was quizzed on his future at a press conference ahead of Tuesday's meeting with Atletico Madrid.
Setien has recorded 11 wins, three draws and three defeats from his 17 matches in charge of Barca.
