Quique Setien's job at Barcelona 'safe for now'

:Headline: Quique Setien's job at Barcelona 'safe for now':
Barcelona allegedly have no immediate plans to part company with Quique Setien, despite growing pressure on the club's head coach.

Barcelona reportedly intend to retain the services of Quique Setien until at least the end of the season.

At a time when Barcelona have dropped points against Sevilla and Celta Vigo, it has been suggested many members of the dressing room have lost faith in the recently-appointed boss.

With the Catalan giants now two points adrift of Real Madrid in the La Liga title race, there have been suggestions that a change could be made in the dugout in the coming days.

However, according to RAC1, club president Josep Maria Bartomeu has visited Setien's home to offer the 61-year-old his support.

The alleged development comes after Setien was quizzed on his future at a press conference ahead of Tuesday's meeting with Atletico Madrid.

Setien has recorded 11 wins, three draws and three defeats from his 17 matches in charge of Barca. body check tags ::
