Barcelona have seven first-team players out of contract next summer, including veteran midfielder Sergio Busquets and Dutch attacker Memphis Depay.
Busquets has again been a vital player for Xavi's side this season, making 16 appearances in all competitions, including 14 outings in Spain's top flight.
The 34-year-old has now made 696 appearances for the Catalan giants in all competitions, but he only has a deal until next June, and there is currently widespread speculation surrounding his future.
A number of MLS clubs are said to be keen to sign the experienced midfielder, while there is also believed to be interest from Saudi Arabia.
Busquets is not thought to have made a final decision on his future, but it does appear likely that this will be his final season for the Catalan giants, as he looks for a fresh challenge at this stage of his career.
Memphis, meanwhile, was strongly linked with a move away from Barcelona over the summer, but the transfer window closed with the Dutchman still at Camp Nou.
The 28-year-old has only played three times for the Catalan side this term due to injury, and he is unlikely to sign an extension with Xavi's side, which could lead to him leaving in January.
A recent report claimed that Barcelona would be prepared to accept an offer in the region of £4.3m for the Netherlands international, with his former club Manchester United showing an interest.
Chelsea are also believed to be keeping a close eye on the situation surrounding the forward, who has a record of 14 goals and two assists in 41 matches for the La Liga giants since his arrival from Lyon.
Marcos Alonso's deal is also only due to run until the end of the season, with the 31-year-old penning a one-year contract upon his arrival from Chelsea over the summer.
However, a recent report claimed that Barcelona are planning to hand the Spaniard a two-year extension, having been impressed with his form this season.
The Catalan side had allegedly wanted to sign the defender to a three-year deal when he made the move to the club from Chelsea, but their financial problems meant that only 12 months could be offered.
Hector Bellerin also only signed a one-year contract following his arrival on a free transfer, but the 27-year-old is being tipped to move on at the end of the campaign.
The former Arsenal defender has only made five appearances this season, and the club's head coach Xavi is thought to be keen to bring a new right-back to the club next year.
Sergi Roberto is also out of contract next June, but the 30-year-old is likely to be kept on, having been a regular this season, making 12 appearances in all competitions, contributing two goals and two assists.
The Spaniard, who is currently on the sidelines recovering from a shoulder injury, has made 328 appearances for Barcelona, contributing 14 goals and 39 assists in the process.
The final two players on the list are both goalkeepers in the shape of Inaki Pena and Arnau Tenas.
The former has played once for Barcelona this season, which came against Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League earlier this month, and he has been the back-up to Marc-Andre ter Stegen this term.
Pena could sign a new deal to stay as number two, while Tenas will also be hoping to be handed fresh terms, having also been in the squad for all 20 of the team's matches this term.
As it stands, it does appear that both stoppers will be kept on to continue providing support for the club's undisputed number one Ter Stegen. body check tags ::
