Barcelona have reportedly identified Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto as a possible signing during the summer transfer window.
With Andres Iniesta expected to leave Camp Nou, boss Ernesto Valverde must start to look for replacements in the middle of the park and it appears that the Catalan giants may attempt to secure a reunion with a former player.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Barcelona have been impressed with Alberto's season at the Stadio Olimpico, with the player contributing nine goals and 11 assists in 31 outings in Italy's top flight.
The 25-year-old spent the 2012-13 campaign with Barcelona's 'B' team but since then, the player has endured unsuccessful spells at both Liverpool and Malaga.
Alberto - who still has over four years remaining on his contract - would allegedly cost in the region of £26m.
