Barcelona are reportedly set to offer Ansu Fati a new five-year contract.
The teenager has broken into the first team this season and impressed in the absence of talisman Lionel Messi, who has not started a game for the Catalan giants so far this term.
Fati has scored two goals and registered an assist in just 116 minutes of league action, becoming Barcelona's youngest scorer at the age of just 16.
The forward's current contract runs until the summer of 2022, but Barca are keen to tie him down to fresh terms in order to fend off interest from European rivals, hoping to include a €100m (£88.6m) release clause in the deal, according to the Daily Mail.
It is also thought that his salary would increase significantly depending on the number of minutes he earned for the first team, as well as a €700,000 (£620,000) signing bonus.
