Barcelona could reportedly make a £94m move for Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez this summer.
The Spanish champions will be allowed to make an emergency signing this month having lost Ousmane Dembele for the remainder of the season with a hamstring injury.
Barca's options are limited, though, as the player in question must currently be operating in Spain, meaning that any signing is expected to be short-term before the club move for a Luis Suarez replacement this summer.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Martinez is the club's number one target, although Inter will demand that the Argentina international's full £94m release clause is met before sanctioning a sale.
The 22-year-old has also been linked with Manchester United but is believed to be desperate to play alongside his countryman Lionel Messi at Camp Nou.
An impressive 2019-20 campaign to date has seen the South American score 16 goals in 27 appearances for Antonio Conte's side, including five strikes in six Champions League outings earlier this season.
