Barcelona have not discussed the possibility of re-signing Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain, according to the Spanish club's vice-president Jordi Cardoner.
Neymar, 26, scored 105 goals in 186 appearances for Barca between 2013 and 2017 before completing a world-record move to PSG in last summer's transfer window.
The Brazilian has netted 39 times in 41 appearances for PSG since his arrival, but suggestions that the attacker is unsettled in France have gathered pace in recent months.
Neymar is said to be desperate to return to Camp Nou as he 'misses life at Barca', but Cardoner has insisted that the Catalan giants have not discussed the possibility of re-signing the South American.
"No-one on the Barca board has talked about the possibility of bringing back Neymar, right now we can't give an answer because no-one has even mentioned it," Cardoner told SER Catalunya.
"He was the one who left, it would be different if we hadn't believed him and now we wanted to bring him back, but that's not the case. If we did want to sign him then the board would have to discuss it but until now no one has talked about it."
Earlier this week, it was reported that Barca were prepared to pay £193m to re-sign Neymar at the end of this season.
