Spanish and European champions Barcelona are planning to submit a bid for FC Porto striker Hulk during the summer, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Barca coach Pep Guardiola has told the club's board that he wants to boost his attacking options during pre-season and has identified the Brazilian international as his number one target.
Hulk has been the subject of reported interest from a number of clubs in recent weeks, with Chelsea in particular said to be keen on his services.
The 25-year-old has scored 12 goals from 24 outings this season.
