Barcelona have reportedly decided to up their interest in Benfica forward Luka Jovic.
The 21-year-old - who is currently on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt - has established himself as one of the biggest prospects in European football during the current campaign.
A total of 22 goals have been scored in the Bundesliga and Europa League, and Barcelona are one of a number of teams who have been linked with an approach for the Serbia international.
According to The Guardian, the Catalan giants are preparing to make a bid of €50m (£43.28m) in the coming weeks ahead of negotiations with Frankfurt.
The German side have already agreed to sign Jovic in the summer, but they will likely cash in on the player providing that an interested club meets their valuation.
Barcelona have allegedly identified AC Milan's Andre Silva as an alternative option.
