Barcelona have reportedly been left less than convinced with the performances of summer signing Raphinha.
After impressing during two seasons with Leeds United, Raphinha completed a switch to Camp Nou, rejecting the advances of Chelsea in the process.
At the time, it was perceived that Barcelona had got one over their Stamford Bridge counterparts, completing a £55m deal for a player who only had eyes for their club.
However, despite the Catalan giants sitting at the top of the La Liga standings, the 26-year-old is yet to make a sustained impression in Spain.
Raphinha has made 10 starts and eight substitute outings in all competitions, contributing just two goals and four assists in La Liga and the Champions League.
Of his 10 starts, Raphinha has completed the 90 minutes on just one occasion, coming back on September 3 when he netted in a 3-0 win at Sevilla.
The Brazil international went into the World Cup break having produced some of his better form, chipping in with an important effort versus Osasuna and adding three assists from October 29.
Nevertheless, according to Sport, club officials have been left unconvinced by his performances since his arrival in August.
The report indicates that they expected Raphinha to make more of a difference in the final third, rather than being outshone by some of his teammates.
However, Raphinha can claim to have provided a better return than Ferran Torres in La Liga, who has just two goal contributions in 567 minutes.
Raphinha's performances at the World Cup are said to have done little for his current stock at Barcelona, despite featuring in each of Brazil's five games.
The playmaker failed to provide a goal or assist in 317 minutes, although he contributed to their overall play in wins over Serbia, Switzerland and South Korea.
Raphinha still has over four-and-a-half years remaining on his contract at Barcelona. body check tags ::
