Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford next year.
The 25-year-old has been in strong form for the 20-time English champions during the 2022-23 campaign, scoring eight goals and registering three assists in 19 appearances.
Rashford contributed three goals and one assist in four outings in the group stage of the Europa League, while he has managed four goals and two assists in 14 Premier League appearances.
There is currently uncertainty surrounding his future at Old Trafford, though, with his current deal due to expire next June.
Man United have the option of activating a 12-month extension on his deal to take him to the end of the 2023-24 campaign, which they are expected to take up in the near future.
The Red Devils are expected to offer Rashford a new long-term contract, though, with head coach Erik ten Hag seemingly viewing him as a key part of his plans moving forward.
As it stands, foreign clubs would be able to hold talks with the attacker at the start of 2023, and Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi recently expressed an interest in signing him.
"He's another player that is really amazing," Al-Khelaifi told Sky Sports News. "And for free? To have Rashford for free, every club would run after him, definitely.
"We're not hiding it, we spoke before and... interest. But the moment was not a good moment for both sides. Maybe, summer, why not?
"Today if he's a free agent of course we can talk to him directly but we are not going to talk to him now. Let him focus on the World Cup. Then after in January, hopefully, if we're interested we will talk to him."
According to Sport, there is also firm interest from Barcelona, with the Catalan outfit keeping a close eye on his contract situation in Manchester.
Xavi's side are currently well-stocked in the wide areas, with Ousmane Dembele, Ansu Fati, Memphis Depay, Ferran Torres and Raphinha all at the club.
Memphis, however, is set to move on next year, while there have also been claims that Torres would be allowed to leave for the right price.
Rashford has also played through the middle for Man United this season, and his arrival at Camp Nou would give the club another option at centre-forward alongside Robert Lewandowski.
Man United's academy product has now scored 101 goals and registered 61 assists in 322 appearances for the 20-time English champions in all competitions. body check tags ::
