Barcelona's 2019-20 campaign is close to stretching into a whole year as they prepare to take on Napoli in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Saturday night.
The Catalan giants are relying on the competition to salvage their season, having failed to win any domestic silverware this term.
Regardless of their European fate, plenty of incoming and outgoing activity can be expected at Camp Nou this summer.
Saturday morning's Barcelona transfer talk news roundup:
Barcelona to make £14m bid for Manchester City defender Eric Garcia?
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola revealed on Thursday that young defender Eric Garcia has rejected the offer of a new contract at the Etihad Stadium.
That has alerted a number of clubs, none more so than Barca, where Garcia started his career before heading to Man City in 2018.
According to Goal, the La Liga side have now lodged a formal offer of £14m for the 19-year-old.
However, City are said to be holding out for closer to the £30m mark, despite Garcia having just a year to run on his deal.
Barcelona lining up bid for Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu?
A new central defender is clearly on the agenda for Barca, with Leicester City's Caglar Soyuncu another to have been linked with a switch to Camp Nou.
Soyuncu has just completed a strong campaign with the Foxes, helping the East Midlands outfit earn a place in next season's Europa League.
NTV Spor reports that Leicester face a battle to keep hold of the 24-year-old as Barcelona are the latest side to have registered an interest.
Barca are yet to make an offer, but it is suggested that they could go as high as £36m with their bid.
Everton join Barcelona in race for Diogo Dalot?
Barca are rumoured to have recently revived their interest in Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot, two years after he rejected the Catalan side to head to Old Trafford.
It is not known just how concrete that interest is, however, and Quique Setien's side may well face competition for the full-back even if they do intend to make a move.
Dalot is also wanted by Everton, according to The Mirror, and the Toffees are confident of landing the Portuguese for around £10m.
Former Porto youngster Dalot is under contract with United for another three years.
