Barcelona have made plans to pay up to £50m for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, according to a report.
The Polish striker will enter the final year of his contract at the Bavarian club this summer, and with no agreement of an extension agreed as of yet, doubts have been raised over his future in Germany.
Barca are said to be one of the clubs monitoring his situation ahead of a potential transfer at the end of this season, and Sport are reporting that the Catalans are considering an offer of €50m (£41.6m) in order to secure his signature.
However, the report does outline how a price tag of €60m (£49.9m) would not deter their interest, although it remains to be seen what Bayern's stance is on the situation.
With 31 Bundesliga goals in just 27 league appearances this season, Lewandowski continues to lead Bayern towards a 10th consecutive Bundesliga title over in Germany.
Meanwhile, since losing Lionel Messi's goals last summer, Barca have brought in the likes of Memphis Depay, Luuk de Jong, Ferran Torres and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the forward areas over the last two transfer windows. body check tags ::
