Barcelona forward Memphis Depay reportedly remains against a transfer to Newcastle United.
Despite only moving to Camp Nou during the summer window, there is seemingly no certainty over the 27-year-old staying at the Catalan giants in the long term.
According to El Nacional, Depay "does not trust" recently-appointed head coach Xavi, leading to him entertaining a move to another club.
However, the report claims that the Netherlands international is not prepared to consider a lucrative switch to St James' Park at the midway point of the campaign.
The attacker has allegedly shown little interest in the Magpies in the past, something which remains the case despite their lucrative takeover.
Depay, who has netted eight times in 22 appearances this season, has a contract until the end of 2022-23.
