Barcelona have reportedly seen a third bid for Robert Lewandowski rejected by Bayern Munich.
The Poland international has been at the centre of transfer speculation after expressing his desire to leave the club in a press conference for his national side at the end of May.
However, Bayern have remained firm in their stance that they do not want their star striker to leave this summer, with the Bavarians rejecting two previous bids from Barcelona.
According to Bild, Barcelona have now seen a third offer rebuffed, denting their hopes of signing Lewandowski in the current transfer window.
The report states that the Catalan giants offered €40m (£34.5m) guaranteed plus €5m (£4.3m) in add-ons, but Bayern are not expected to consider anything under €50m (£43.1m).
If Lewandowski remains at Bayern then he could depart on a free transfer following the expiry of his contract next summer.
