Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has insisted that Dani Alves's contract situation at the club will not be resolved until the end of the season.
The Brazilian is entering the final six months of his contract at Camp Nou, but official talks over a new deal have not yet taken place.
Alves is said to be keen to remain at the club, but it looks increasingly likely that the right-back will depart this summer.
"I do not speak of these situations. This benefits both parties. Everyone should be calm and talk at the end of the season, not now," Enrique told reporters at a press conference.
Manchester United are said to be strongly interested in the 31-year-old.
