Everton are close to finalising a deal for Yerry Mina after increasing their bid for the Barcelona defender to £27m, according to a report.
The Toffees are expected to beat Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham United to the signing of the Colombia international, who has spent just half a year at Camp Nou.
Mina recently insisted that he is determined to make a name for himself at Barcelona, but Goal.com claims that the La Liga champions have been open to offers and Everton's latest approach is now likely to be successful.
Barca are said to have knocked back previous bids of £15m and £21m, though they are now willing to cash in and make a profit on the amount paid to sign the centre-back from Palmeiras in January.
The report also claims that the Catalan giants will insert a buy-back clause in Mina's contract, however, which Everton have been forced to accept.
