Manchester United have reportedly entered the race to sign Barcelona centre-back Yerry Mina this summer.
United boss Jose Mourinho has made signing a new central defender his number one priority during the final weeks of the transfer window.
Leicester City's Harry Maguire has been touted as one of the club's main targets, but French outlet RMC reports that they have now struck up an interest in Mina, who also shot to prominence during this summer's World Cup in Russia.
Mina only joined Barcelona in January, but he found first-team football difficult to come by during the second half of last season and has subsequently been linked with a move away this summer.
The likes of Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers have been credited with an interest in the 23-year-old, while Ligue 1 outfit Lyon are understood to have made an official bid of £26.7m for the Colombia international.
Mina made just four starts for Barcelona across all competitions last season, but scored three goals in as many games during Colombia's run to the last 16 of the World Cup.
