Juventus and Inter Milan will reportedly rival each other for the signature of Ivan Rakitic over the January transfer window.
Barcelona are said to be open to dispensing with Rakitic in an attempt to address a bloated midfield which has seven players competing for a maximum of three positions.
Following the arrival of Frenkie de Jong from Ajax, the Croat has been reduced to just one start in La Liga so far this season.
According to Calcio Mercato, Juventus and Inter are interested in Rakitic and will monitor his situation at Camp Nou ahead of January.
Juventus have already made impressive midfield reinforcements over the summer, signing Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey on free transfers, while Inter brought in Stefano Sensi and Nicolo Barella.
Reports have stated that Ousmane Dembele, Samuel Umtiti and Arturo Vidal are also among the players Barcelona are willing to dispense with over the winter.
