Juventus are reportedly set to rival Barcelona for to signing of Lyon forward Memphis Depay.
Ronald Koeman, who worked with the 26-year-old during his time in charge of the Netherlands national team, had identified him as a key transfer target last summer but a deal never materialised.
Depay's contract expires in June 2021 and the Daily Mail reports that he could be available for as little as £4.5m when the transfer window opens next month.
Juve boss Andrea Pirlo would like a fourth option to complement attackers Cristiano Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata.
The Serie A champions are also monitoring Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik, whose contract is also set to expire in the next six months.
Depay has recently dismissed talk of a move next month as he has stated that he is committed to Lyon.
However the Ligue 1 club, who find themselves in a difficult financial position, may be forced into a deal in January to balance their books.
