Leeds United are reportedly exploring the possibility of signing Barcelona midfielder Riqui Puig on loan during the January transfer window.
The 21-year-old has only made two first-team appearances for Ronald Koeman's side during the 2020-21 campaign, while he has played just 25 minutes of La Liga football this term.
A recent report claimed that the Spain Under-21 international was not in Koeman's plans moving forward and could leave Camp Nou when the winter transfer window opens for business.
According to Sport, Puig's agent has been in contact with Leeds over the possibility of moving to Elland Road, with the English club's head coach Marcelo Bielsa an admirer of the midfielder's style of play.
The report, though, claims that RB Leipzig, Real Betis and Monaco are also interested and could battle the Whites for his signature at the start of 2021.
The Spaniard has provided three assists in 17 first-team appearances for Barca.
