Barcelona are ready to sanction Javier Mascherano's £7m move to Chinese Super League side Hebei China Fortune, according to a report.
The 33-year-old is understood to have been on the radar of a number of American and Far Eastern sides, having been informed that there was a possibility he could leave this month.
Following Yerry Mina's £10.45m arrival on Thursday, Diario Gol claims that Mascherano's time at Camp Nou is now nearing an end as Barca are prepared to offload him.
A deal is said to have been struck with Fortune and a transfer is on course to be finalised before the end of the January window.
Mascherano, who joined Barcelona from Liverpool in 2010, is currently seen as the Catalan giants' fifth-choice centre-back when all players are fit.
