Lyon attacker Memphis Depay has suggested that he could complete a move to Barcelona in January.
The Netherlands international was strongly linked with a switch to Camp Nou in the latter stages of the summer transfer window and recently revealed that he came "pretty close" to joining Ronald Koeman's side.
Memphis ultimately remained with Lyon but his contract with the French giants will expire next summer, and it appears unlikely that the 26-year-old will be penning fresh terms.
The former Manchester United attacker has refused to rule out a move to Camp Nou in January, although he stopped short of revealing that he would definitely be leaving his current side in early 2021.
"We'll see what happens," Memphis told AD. "We'll be in January soon. We'll have to wait and see how things go. It's not that I'm definitely leaving, but there will probably be clubs [after me] soon.
"I'm 26 and almost a free agent, so you can expect clubs to be interested, right?"
The Dutchman has started the 2020-21 Ligue 1 season in impressive fashion for Les Gones, finding the back of the net on four occasions in six appearances.
